The bib and brace is manufactured from updated Vass-Tex 176 material, which is waterproof, windproof and breathable. It also features Vass Quad-Welded seams for dependable protection in wet and windy conditions.

The knee areas are reinforced using heavy-duty Vass-Tex 400 Carbon-Emboss material for improved wear resistance. Access flaps are also included, allowing optional knee pads to be inserted for additional protection.

Velcro-fastening ankle straps allow the lower legs to be tightened around the wearer’s footwear, helping create a closer and more secure fit.

No. The Vass-Tex coating is a fixed-performance coating and does not require reproofing. The garment is also machine washable, although it should not be washed above 40°C or with detergents containing chlorine or bleach.

Vass are pleased to introduce the ‘Edition 4’ which supersedes the successful ‘Team Vass 175’ Edition 3 winter lined bib & brace. The new ‘Edition 4’ design includes an extended back area for improved weather protection & new ‘Vass Carbon-Emboss’ knee reinforcement material for extra strength.

The padded winter lining is very warm and promotes internal air circulation for extra comfort. However, it’s unusually lightweight & flexible therefore not your usual bulky winter wear.

Extended back area compared to the ‘Edition 3’ design.
Knee reinforcement is made using heavy duty ‘Vass-Tex 400 Carbon-Emboss’ material for extra wear resistance.
Knee reinforcement areas have an access flap for inserting optional knee-pads
New updated ‘Vass-Tex 176’ Waterproof, Windproof & Breathable material (updated version of the Vass-Tex 175 material although visually it looks the same)

Tips to keep your Vass kit in top health!

If garment is dirty/smelly on the inside, wash inside out
Do Not Wash at temperatures over 40 C
Drip dry inside out for quickest drying time
Do Not use detergents containing Chlorine or bleach
Vass-Tex coating is a fixed performance coating & doesn’t need reproofing.
As with all clothing, do not leave exposed to prolonged direct sun light (UV) when not in use (I.E On Washing Line). Doing so may damage the performance & strength of your clothing.
