The Vass-Tex 230 material has a minimum hydrostatic head rating of more than 20,000mm. It also features welded seams, a zipped front with a double storm flap and an adjustable storm hood to provide reliable protection in wet weather.

No. The Vass-Tex 230 material does not require reproofing to retain its waterproof performance. Its outer surface does not hold water during prolonged wet conditions, allowing water to run off and helping the jacket remain lightweight and quick drying.

The jacket includes left- and right-hand vertical zipped chest pockets with storm flaps, designed to hold fly or lure boxes. It also has two external hand pockets with YKK zips, which open in a reversed direction for improved comfort when resting the hands or wrists inside.

Left- and right-hand D-rings with woven tags are included for securing forceps. A larger D-ring is also fitted to the rear of the jacket for attaching a landing net.

The storm hood has an elastic cord with toggle-stop adjustment, along with a rear adjustment flap that allows the peak position to be moved forwards or backwards. The neoprene cuffs have adjustable straps, while the lower hem can be tightened using drawcord adjustments on both sides.

Designed for modern Salt & Fresh water fly & lure fishing as well as any fishing which requires prolonged wading through water in wet and windy conditions.
