No. The exceptionally high level of waterproof protection means the jacket is not breathable. However, the material does have some internal moisture-wicking properties to help improve comfort.

The jacket has a medium-weight inner lining designed to provide warmth while allowing improved movement. The heavy-duty outer material also retains a supple and flexible feel, while the raglan sleeves provide additional shoulder movement during casting.

The jacket includes external left- and right-hand pockets, vertical lower pockets protected by storm flaps and internal left- and right-hand chest pockets.

A full-length YKK front zip is protected by a double storm flap. The jacket also has a wider neck for comfort, a higher chin guard and a redesigned storm hood with cord adjustment for additional protection during poor weather.

The neoprene cuffs include adjustable straps to create a closer fit around the wrists. An elasticated drawcord with toggles is also fitted around the lower hem, helping exclude draughts and reduce wind entering underneath the jacket.

Yes. The jacket is manufactured from easy-repair Vass-Tex 350 material. An internal zip provides access to the inside of the outer material, helping suitable damage to be repaired less visibly.

The jacket is available in sizes Small through to 3XL, covering chest measurements from approximately 36 to 50 inches. The sizing is more generous than standard Vass waterproof clothing to provide room for additional layers, so some customers may prefer a smaller size depending on their desired fit.

Vass are pleased to introduce the new 'TEAM VASS 350 WINTER' EDITION 2 range.

Updates include Neoprene adjustable cuffs, wider neck area (for layering up with hoodies etc), re-designed storm hood, higher chin guard, raglan sleeve design (easier for casting) to name but a few.

This range has been developed for the most extreme fishing (e.g. sea boat and shore, predator, match etc) to resist the most extreme wind and rain. The Vass-Tex 350 material is heavy duty and tough whilst maintaining a supple and flexible handle.

This ensures that the garments are easy to wear when fishing and less restrictive than other heavy-duty rainwear. It's important to know that the Vass-Tex 350 ranges are ideally suited for anglers that are usually fishing on the shore or in a boat for long periods during extreme wind and rain. It's waterproofness is extremely high (up to 50,000mm) therefore is not breathable. Although it does have some internal moisture wicking properties to help with comfort.

It's not recommened for anglers that require lightweight, breathable garments (with lower waterproofness) for use iun warmer or less extreme conditions.
