No. The Team Vass 220 Winter Jacket is designed to be comfortable and warm during most conditions throughout the year. Additional insulating layers can be worn underneath when extra warmth is required during the coldest months.

The Vass-Tex 220 material has a hydrostatic-head rating of 12,000mm and is also windproof. Welded seams provide additional strength, waterproof protection and reliability in prolonged wet weather.

Rapid Dissipate Technology helps disperse internal body moisture while the jacket is being worn. This is intended to improve comfort during active fishing and changing weather conditions.

The jacket has two external front hand pockets secured with YKK zips. An internal left chest pocket with a YKK zip is also included and is suitable for holding a smartphone or other small personal items.

The full-length YKK front zip is covered by a double storm flap. This provides an additional barrier against wind and rain entering through the front fastening.

The storm hood has an elastic cord with toggle-stop adjustment and an additional rear flap for changing the position of the peak. The jacket also includes elasticated cuffs with adjustable flaps and lower-hem drawcords on both sides.

The extended lower back provides additional coverage and helps rainwater run away from the wearer. This can improve protection when sitting, bending over or moving around in wet conditions.

No. The Vass-Tex 220 outer material does not hold water during prolonged wet conditions. Water runs off the surface, helping the jacket remain lightweight and dry quickly.

No. The fixed waterproof coating does not require reproofing to retain its performance. The jacket is also machine washable, saltwater resistant and manufactured from easy-repair material. The Khaki Edition is available in sizes Small through to 3XL.

Vass waterproof coating ‘Does Not’ need reproofing like many garments on the market as it’s a fixed waterproof coating!
