1.0 Introduction
"Comfortable, Super-Hard Wearing and Breathable, Spot On"
Having high quality and comfortable waders is essential for the modern carp angler and these Vass waders provide everything you need and more! Waders are a key part of my angling and my job, they not only keep me dry and enable me to get into the water when needed for fishing purposes, but they allow me to get shots or videos from a different perspective both in and out of the water. I can go almost anywhere in them, protected from the elements and my surroundings, all to aid me in my job.
2.0 But Why These Waders?
Well, let me explain…
The Vass-Tex 3300 is a breathable and hard-wearing wader. Using the most advanced manufacturing and material technology, Vass has created the ultra-tough and reliable Vass-Tex 3300 series wader.
It’s very tough, breathable and above all, in many cases, up to three times more waterproof than other breathable waders. The material itself includes a twin membrane technology for a double layer of waterproof protection. The outer material is hardwearing giving you peace of mind in the event you get snagged on some brambles or sharp rocks.

3.0 Triple-Bonded Seams
This is where it really comes into its element for me, I can get myself into all types of situations and not have to worry about damaging them. However, in the case that I do, they are super-easy to fix. Adding to the strength of the wader is a non-stitched, triple-bonded seam that is two to three times stronger than a stitched or taped seam. A conventional seam can be the weakest part of a wader and be prone to splitting. But, with these seams, there’s more strength and less to worry about.
4.0 Reinforced Knees
You also have double reinforced knee areas for when kneeling down holding your prize or in my case, crawling around to find the perfect angle for a video.
5.0 Unmatched Breathability
Having a highly breathable wader means I can wear them for long periods of time without sweating. You’ll all know what I mean. If you’ve been wearing wellies, non-breathable waders or a fully waterproof piece of clothing, after wearing them for a while and an increase in heat (especially in the summer), you start to get a build-up of sweat, which often can make you wet and cold. With the 3300s, this isn’t an issue. I’ve spent hours in them before and been completely comfortable. It also saves a massive amount of time from having to take them off, put them back on, and so on.

6.0 Extra Features
The waders have a variety of different features that stand them above a standard pair of waders. There’s an upper chest drawcord for adjustment. This is super-useful for me when holding fish but even more so when getting low to the water for a shot. It just eliminates the chance of cupping the water and sending it straight down to my toes.
The chest also has two waterproof pockets, one on the front of the wader and one internal. Although they will keep the water out, it’s not advisable to put phones or electronics in the pockets. I mean, I do anyway as it’s a handy place to put any spare bits I need whilst filming.
The shoulder straps are adjustable and elastic so comfy and easy to slip on and off.
They are also supplied with an adjustable elastic waistband. This is something I’ve removed, but that’s just because I prefer a bit more freedom down there.
The boots are exactly what you’d expect, hard wearing, comfortable and full of grip. They even have an ‘easy-off’ heel kick on the back of the boot, which makes taking them off an absolute doddle. You can also purchase the waders with a studded boot if you want more grip.
Overall, these waders are an absolute dream!
